A method is presented for constructing a class of Poincare invariant quantum
mechanical models of systems of a finite number of degrees of freedom that
satisfy cluster separability, the spectral condition, but do not conserve
particle number. The class of models includes the relativistic Lee model and
relativistic isobar models.
