Two photon decay of excited atoms or molecules to dipole-forbidden level may occur via electric-dipole couplings to their common upper level. We develop a dynamical theory of paired superradiance (PSR) for this transition, a cooperative process characterized by two photons back to back emitted with equal energies. By irradiation of trigger laser from two target ends, with its frequency tuned at the half energy between two levels, a macroscopic, photon-pair condensed state, being supported by medium polarization, is realized as the final state of static remnants, made of many topologically stable solitons of spinorial nature. When targets of high density are prepared and an initial coherence between two levels is imprinted, observation of explosive PSR events becomes possible. The basic quantum and semi-classical equations in 1+1 spacetime dimensions are derived for the field plus medium system to describe the process, and numerically solved to demonstrate explosive and modest PSR phenomena and field condensate formation.
