We perform the first three-dimensional measurement of the amplitudes of $B\to\psi{(2S)}K^*$ and $B\to\chi_{c1}K^*$ decays and update our previous measurement for $B\to{J\mskip -3mu/\mskip -2mu\psi\mskip 2mu}K^*$. We use a data sample collected with the {\slshape BABAR} detector at the PEP-II storage ring, representing 232 million produced $B{\kern 0.18em\bar{\kern -0.18em B}}$ pairs. The longitudinal polarization of decays to the $1^{++} \chi_{c1}$ meson together with a $K^*$ meson, is found to be larger than that for the decay to the $1^{--} \Psi$ mesons. No direct CP-violating charge asymmetry is observed.
