The probability P(Delta-Delta) to find the Delta-Delta component inside the
deuteron, where Delta stands for the Delta(1232) resonance, is calculated in
the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model of light nuclei. We obtain P(Delta-Delta) = 0.3%.
This prediction agrees good with the experimental estimate P(Delta-Delta) <
0.4% at 90% of CL (D. Allasia et al., Phys. Lett. B174 (1986) 450).
