The combined effect of resonance neutrino oscillations and resonance spin-flavor precession in the convective zone of the Sun is studied. It is shown that although the oscillations themselves cannot induce time variations of the solar neutrino flux observed in the 37Cl experiment, they can effectively enhance the resonance spin-flavor precession, which can give rise to such variations. New experimental data on solar neutrinos are also discussed.
