Stokes vector observations of multiple spectral lines have generally concentrated upon multiplets. With the use of suitable multiplets, an inversion procedure's sensitivity to the magnetic field vector can be significantly increased. This paper presents the results of an analysis of three lines that share no special properties. The primary aim was to assess the self-consistency of the High Altitude Observatory's Stokes profile inversion technique. While self-consistency was confirmed, the results also suggest the feasibility of using a multiple line approach to study depth-dependence of magnetic fields on the Sun.
