The perturbation problem of a Lagrangian top in the case of small potential perturbations is shown to be analogous to the problem of the rotation of a satellite whose center of mass moves in circular orbit in the equatorial plane under the effect of the geomagnetic field, modeled by a dipole field whose axis coincides with the earth's rotation axis. The perturbing factors in this problem are magnetization of the satellite shell and the deviation of its magnetic moment from the dynamic-symmetry axis of the satellite. An analysis is made of the resonance tori of the unperturbed problem in the vicinity of which periodic solutions of the perturbed problem exist.
