Spatially-homogeneous exact Bianchi type III vacuum models are developed
on the basis of scalar-tensor theories of gravitation proposed by Ross
(1972) and Dunn (1974). The vacuum models are written in the form of
equations for the anisotropic expansion of the universe with time. The
physical properties of these models are discussed.
