Grants programs at NSF, both in the Division of Astronomical Sciences and elsewhere in the Foundation, support a wide range of research and educational activities. In the Astronomy Division, observational, theoretical, and laboratory research is supported in all areas of the astrophysical sciences. Support for related research and for international collaboration is also available in other divisions in NSF. Instrumentation programs are offered both in the Astronomy Division and NSF-wide. Programs are available to provide funding at all career levels - undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral, beginning faculty, and senior investigators. Support for educational and outreach activities are available through a variety of programs at NSF. This session will provide an overview of grant programs and funding opportunities in astronomy and astrophysics. It will also discuss the proposal review and decision-making process.
