We report on an investigation of energetic neutral atom (ENA) imaging of the Earth's magnetotail current sheet, based on data from the IBEX-Hi instrument on the IBEX Mission. The investigation involves statistics on 3 seasons of observations when the spacecraft orbit placed it to the dusk side of the magnetotail, viewing toward dawn, and likewise 3 complementary seasons when the instrument viewed the magnetotail from the dawn side looking toward dusk. By comparing the absolute intensities at each of the six IBEX-Hi energy bands spanning 380eV to 6keV as well as their relative intensities, we look for asymmetries in the apparent intensity and temperature of the magnetotail plasmasheet plasma when viewed from each of these opposing vantage points. Details of these comparisons are expected to shed light on the energization mechanisms active in the magnetotail current sheet as a function of magnetospheric activity and solar wind driving conditions.
