We investigate the spatial distribution of the ion cyclotron waves by using the Cassini MAG data from 2005 to 2009. The analysis of five years data shows that the water group ion (O+, OH+, H2O+, or H3O+) cyclotron waves are mostly located inside 6Rs of the Saturn's magnetosphere. Inside 5.5Rs the ion cyclotron wave distribution in latitude is wide (latitude:-40 °~30 °), but outside 5.5Rs it is narrower (latitude:-12 °~12 °). The wave amplitude is found to be relatively weaker on the equator than at location slightly off the equator (around 2 to 5 degree latitude). We also examine the stability condition of ion cyclotron wave for plasma parameters given by force equilibrium model.
