Ion-neutral collision frequencies and ion and electron temperatures have been determined from high-resolution EISCAT UHF radar data obtained in February, July, and August 1984 and in August 1985. Under the assumption of equal ion and electron temperatures, collision frequency results were obtained for between 93 and 110 km altitude. The present observations suggest larger changes in the neutral temperature than those given by the MSIS-86 model.
