It is shown how fluid MHD equations can be used to study the diversion
of the radial current in the accretion disk of a magnetized neutron
star. A self-consistent current system was obtained. When the accretion
flow is in the opposite direction, slight modifications to the previous
analysis can also yield self-consistent current systems.
