Spectrograms of HD 21 291 (B9 Ia) with dispersions of 0.4-1.5 nm/mm are used to study the time variations of the radial velocities and differential shifts of hydrogen, helium, and metal ion lines. The dependence of the radial velocities on the line formation depth indicate that the atmospheric motions are of the pulsation type. Maximum shifts are about +7 and -25 km/s for contraction and expansion, respectively.
