Cryogenic samplers from five balloon flights conducted during the 1982-1984 period were used to obtain CH4, N2O, CFC-12, and CFC-11 data. The vertical distributions of these gases reveal structures with a dominant scale size of 16 + or - 2.5 km. An average tropospheric increase of 6.5 + or - 1 percent per year is found for CFC-12 and CFC-11. The mixing ratios for CH4 and N2O are not different than those observed for the 1977-1979 period.
