The telluric (0, 1) oxygen band in the 8645-A region was observed in spectrograms of the setting sun obtained at large atmospheric depths. The wavelengths of 44 lines belonging to this band are measured. Based on the equivalent widths of the most intense unblended lines, the integral absorption coefficient of this band is determined to be approximately 0.01143 kayser/km per atm at a temperature of 273 K.
