The structure of solar wind is studied using data on proton and alpha-particle bulk parameters and magnetic field obtained by Prognoz 7 satellite. For that purpose, the magnetic field value B, the proton temperature Tp, the relative helium abundance (n-apha/n-p), and the ratio between thermal and magnetic pressures beta = nkTp/(B-sq/8 pi) are represented as distributions on the n-Vp (solar wind ion density-proton velocity) plane. The values and behaviors of these parameters on the n-Vp plane are used to identify five regions (types of solar wind streams) which may be connected with well known solar corona structure and events.
