The status of the identification and interpretation of intensity anomalies in Galactic cosmic rays associated with the inversion of the general solar magnetic field is discussed. The beginning of an inversion energy anomaly in the intensity of cosmic rays in July 1990 was detected; it had been preceded by a short-term preanomaly in the November 1989-March 1990 period. The similarity of the dynamics of the establishment of an energy anomaly in the 20th and 22nd solar cycles is examined.
