The magnetic field measurements for Beta CrB from 1950 to 1980 are subjected to Fourier analysis in order to determine whether or not the star is a rapidly oscillating Ap star. The analysis gives the ephemeris JD(magnetic maximum) = 2434204.7 + 18.4868 E. Fourier analyses of individual sets of magnetic observations show little evidence for a nonsinusoidal component to the magnetic curves. It is found that there is little statistical support for secular variation of the magnetic field of Beta CrB. In addition, the search for rapid oscillations in the star is discussed.
