Measurements of the strength of the G-band (CH) of galactic Cepheids have been used to construct a relation between G-band strength and (B-V) color. The zero-point of the relation is fixed from stars in clusters and associations whose reddenings are believed to be known, enabling reddenings to be derived for individual Cepheids. These reddenings are in agreement with those derived previously by similar methods but systematically different from those derived from two-color diagrams. This difference is attributed to the luminosity dependence of the G-band in these stars.
