The production of bremsstrahlung by electrons in the space environment is investigated by means of numerical simulations, using the Monte Carlo model described by Berger and Seltzer (1968) and Seltzer (1987). Cross sections for auroral bremsstrahlung, detector responses, and Al and Pb space shielding materials are presented in extensive graphs and discussed in detail.
