The first and second ionization constants for hydrogen sulphide in
aqueous solution have been determined from 20 to 90°C by a
spectrophotometric method. The value of pK H 2 S decreases from
7.05 at 25°C to 6.5 at 90°C while pK hs - decreases from
13.8 to 12.1 in this temperature interval.
