Following Centrella and Wilson's (1983) method for the evolution of inhomogeneous planar cosmological models on a computer, in the course of whose presentation this special gauge's simplification of numerical evolution was discussed, attention is given to the differencing techniques that must be applied in order to solve the hydrodynamical, and especially the Einstein, equations. Also presented are the results obtained from testing the computer code on problems taken from hydrodynamics, spatially homogeneous cosmologies, and linearized general relativistic perturbation theory.
