The first three-month campaign of the SDSS II Supernova Survey, carried out in Fall 2005, discovered 130 spectroscopically confirmed Type Ia SNe over the redshift range 0.01-0.42. For most of these, densely time-sampled multicolor light curves in the SDSS filters starting well before maximum light were obtained. We present luminosity distances derived from a simultaneous fit of template light curves to the measured time sequence using the MLCS2k2 method. The SDSS data fills in a sparsely sampled redshift range in the supernova Hubble diagram and allows a robust connection between the existing low-redshift and high-redshift SNIa samples. Among other things, it will provide constraints on the recent evolution of dark energy.
