Mars Odyssey GRS neutron data in the vicinity of the South Pole is
simulated to obtain bounds on the CO2 thickness-density product covering
the residual south polar cap. A lower bound of 150 g/cm2 is found, or
~1.5 x 1017 g of CO2.
