In connection with the solar-neutrino-abundance problem, the question is examined of how solar neutrino investigations might be affected should some reactor or accelerator experiments indicate the presence of a small-amplitude oscillation. Expressions are given for solar-neutrino fluxes detectable and expected in the absence of oscillations and for the maximum intensity decrease (when a unitary mixing matrix is known from reactor experiments).
