Formulae are given for a least-square parabola on an O-C diagram, with
calculation of the parabolic elements and their mean errors. The
formulae are applied to TY Sct, an eleven-day classical Cepheid. The
resulting rate or change of period is +0.000032 day per year +-0.000016.
