The whole family of generalized soliton solutions of the Weyl class for
Einstein's equations in vacuum is considered. A classification scheme
for the distinct types of metrics belonging to this family is given and
emphasis is placed on the asymptotically flat solutions. The physical
interpretation of the occurring parameters is also briefly considered.
