Some basic theoretical problems concerning dynamic gravitational systems are considered according to Lagrange stability criteria and to the periodicity of formal motion. A comparative method of the recurrence over time of differential functional space elements is described which helps to compare the motion of a system with its physical characteristics on the basis of their repetitiveness. It is found that the isochronism or reciprocal comparability of the principal characteristics of a gravitating system of motion is a necessary precondition to Lagrange stability.
