Exact eigenfrequencies and eigenfunctions have been obtained for the first twenty modes of radial oscillation (P0 through P19) of the 1968 nonstandard solar model. The theoretical periods of these modes are compared with the 1973, 1975, and 1976 observations of Hill, Stebbins, and Brown. With the excellent to good agreement of the P1 through P19 modes of oscillation with the above reported observations, it is concluded that (1) Hill et al. are observing radial oscillations of the sun, and (2) the interior mass distribution of the 1968 nonstandard solar model is a better approximation to the interior mass distribution of the real sun than that of the standard solar model. Other aspects of the results are also discussed.
