The G0 supergiant AZV-121 in the Small Magellanic Cloud is analysed in detail, using moderately high dispersion spectrograms and model atmospheres. The authors find heavy elements are slightly underabundant (-0.3 dex) with respect to the Sun. This result strengthens the discrepancy between the abundance of heavy elements determined in stars and those of light elements determined in gaseous nebulae. Possible artefacts or physical reasons for this disagreement are discussed.
