VLA 6-arcsec resolution observations of the radio continuum emission of the interacting galaxies NGC 4038/39 have been conducted at 1.465 and 4.885 GHz. The radio emission is noted to coincide with optical emission, and two radio components are found which can be characterized as a smooth underlying component that peaks on a dustpatch between the galaxies and several discrete radio knots that generally coincide with H-alpha knots. The diffuse component has a relatively steep radio spectrum, which indicates greater age than that of the radio knots.
