An extensive search for λ Bootis candidates has been made throughout the whole Geneva photometric catalogue and 17 stars have been found, matching the photometric conditions to be λ Bootis stars. 13 stars proposed by Abt (1984) as λ Bootis candidates, on the basis of the weakness of the λ4481 Mg II line, also match these conditions.
