The possible occurrence of ray stochasticization in a plasmaspheric magnetoacoustic waveguide is investigated theoretically. It is shown that the stochasticization of magnetoacoustic waves in the waveguide leads to a decrease in its effective cross section and to the 'precipitation' of Pc2-3 geomagnetic pulsations corresponding to its natural frequencies. The stochastic ray instability effect is significant for high waveguide modes.
