A massive scalar field with arbitrary coupling in S1 ×
S3 space, which mimics the thermal expanding universe is
considered and new mass-dependent entropy ratios which, differently from
the conformal limit, satisfy the Bekenstein's and Verlinde's bounds in
the physical region are found.
