The primary problem that we study in our paper is to simulate and classify Swing-By trajectories. We use the well-known planar restricted circular three-body problem as our model. The equations are regularized (using Lamaître's regularization), so we can avoid the numerical problems that come from the close approach with the planet. The results generated in this research can be used to help mission designers to plan missions that involve optimization of parameters. It is possible to use the plots made here to find situations where a trajectory can be obtained with one or more variables (like Vp or Rp) extremized. Several simulations will be shown.
