The authors report on the continuation of their objective grating survey of dwarf spheroidal galaxies; observations with the CFH telescope yielded one new candidate star in Draco, found no new carbon star in Ursa Minor and added two others in Sculptor. Most of the candidate carbon stars in Sculptor, Carina and Leo I have been confirmed by spectroscopy observations at the ESO 3.6 m telescope. Some interesting objects were found serendipitously in Carina.
