The paper examines the restricted problem of the motion of a satellite with a solar sail with respect to its mass center in circular heliocentric orbit. The equations of the rotational motion of the satellite are transformed to equations of the two-dimensional motion of a fictive material point under the effect of conservative and gyroscopic forces. Conditions for the stability of steady-state motions are determined, and periodic solutions close to the steady-state ones are obtained.
