The structure of an asymptotically uniform magnetic test field in the
vicinity of the rotating (Kerr) black hole is investigated. Both
asymptotically aligned and asymptotically perpendicular fields with
respect to the hole's axis are considered, the field lines are
constructed, and magnetic flux across the horizon is discussed.
