The numerical solution of resistive MHD equations, in order to show that some intermediate shocks are admissible, is described. A coplanar case with v(z) = Bz = 0, and a full MHD case with v(z) and Bz not equal to zero are studied. In the first cast no intermediate wave existed, but based on the solution of the equations intermediate shocks were obtained; in the second case it is concluded that MHD intermediate shocks are admissible. It is noted that the admissible intermediate shocks can be found through nonlinear steepening from a continuous wave.
