This proposal seeks 4-meter ISPI time to undertake a near-infrared H_2 survey of the embedded clusters in the Rosette Molecular Cloud (RMC). The gas content of the cloud is relatively well studied, and a recent NOAO Survey program has revealed the stellar content of the cloud in great detail. The clusters in the RMC show evidence of an age sequence and the beginnings of dispersion. In order to investigate the effect that outflows have on the evolution of the clusters, we propose a near-infrared H_2 survey of these regions, to identify outflow features and correlate outflow activity with cluster properties.
