Assuming the peculiar motion of parent galaxies, we try to understand the morphological types of the extended radio sources and deduce the separating velocity of double components (the hot spots) from the observed asymmetry parameters. It is found that the separation velocity is several thousands km/s for ``double'' sources, that is, about one tenth of the value obtained by the usual ``time transit model'' for the same samples. The interpretation of the hot spots as the shock patterns is proposed, which explains the extended structure and is consistent with the above velocity.
