A relevant part of the physics programme of the KLOE2 project at Frascati ∫-factory DAΦNEis devoted to γγ-physics. In particular, there is a strong interest in measuring the γγ → π0π0 cross-section in the low-energy region. This is the "golden channel" for assessing the existence and structure of the σ meson. In order to reduce the strong background coming from ∫ decays, the construction of a tagging system for the final leptons is needed. This system is made by a low-energy tagger (LET) and an high-energy tagger (HET). Here we will discuss the characteristics and capabilities required for the HET detector.
