The expressions of plume axis height, reflecting coefficient and transportin factors in a Gaussian diffusion-deposition model are derived by using theoretical and experimental results in planetary boundary layer in order to obtain a new Gaussian diffusion-deposition model that could be used to describe variation of wind speed with height. The effects of wind speed profile on relative ground-level concentrations are also discussed by using the calculated results obtained.
