The Unno-Beckers equations are numerically solved for the magnetosensitive lines Fe I wavelengths 6302.499 and 5324.191 using an appropriate sunspot model. Beckers' (1969) errors in the coefficients representing the magnetooptical effect are corrected and an improved method for computing algebraic solutions to the Unno-Beckers equations is introduced. The numerical solution is used to set up a simple method of deriving the magnetic field strength, the inclination angle of the field, and the azimuthal angle of the field, from the profiles of the four Stokes parameters.
