NGC 4592 is the nearest of a new class of galaxies revealed by our all-sky neutral hydrogen survey. The entire evolution of these quite numerous objects appears to be delayed in the sense that most of their baryons remain as gas even though all of them have some stars. Studying galaxies in such an 'early' stage of their evolution could be important to the whole subject of galaxy formation and development - even at high redshifts. We propose to image this nearest 'underevolved' giant through the F606W and F814W filters using ACS for 16 orbits.
