Turcotte (1994) replies to a comment by Kaula (1994) that challenges the
time dependence hypothesis (regarding tectonic interaction and heat loss
on Venus) (Turcotte 1993) by stating that the present evidence argues
against the steady state hypothesis supported by Kaula.
