The optical and radio properties of the four jets of this barred spiral galaxy are reviewed and their origin is discussed. The optical jet are held to be collimated outflow from the nucleus rather than the result of tidal interaction between the galaxy and its companion. Observations indicate that the jets do not radiate by the synchrotron mechanism. The difficulties of reconciling this fact with the collimated outflow model are discussed. The need for further optical observations is stressed.
