Superconducting Optical, X-Ray, And Gamma-Ray Detectors

Scientific paper

In this paper the theory of branching cascade processes is applied to the process of multitunneling in superconducting tunnel junctions (STJs). It is taken into account, that the process of signal formation includes multitunneling both of quasielectrons and holes. The model that takes into account the influence on multitunneling of quasielectron and phonon subsystem coupling is also examined. .
