For a flare-productive and CME-correlative region, AR 10720 on Jan 2005, images and photospheric vector magnetograms from Huairou observing station and BBSO and magnetograms from MDI were used to study the nonpotentiality evolution and energy transport which is denoted by Poynting flux. Images of angular shear, vertical current, current helicity, free energy and source field were deduced from the data to examine the evolution of nonpotentiality, both daily and hourly (for Jan 15 and Jan 20 event). To deduce Poynting flux we use Local Correlation Tracking method to get foot-point velocity. We also made effort to combine current helicity evolution and EIT movie to examine the helicity system actions.
